Description

FELSOM Produces a full range of Italian made submersible pumps from 4“ and 6″ with stainless steel casing and 6″, 8″, 10″ and 12″ in cast iron (or bronze if required).
FP4: 4″ with stainless steel casing, with floating independent impellers, with a max head of 240m and a max capacity of 400 l/m.
AP6: 6″ with stainless steel casing with noryl impellers and diffusers, head up to 840m and a capacity to 1100 l/m.
FX6-8-10: mixed-flow pumps, with cast iron impellers and diffusers ( or bronze )
FR8: 8″ radial cast iron pumps, with stainless steel ties.

This new concept of pump have a patented design of floating impeller for low axial thrust on motor bearings. The new technical polymers allow the pump to run dry for extended periods with no damage to the impellers. This is demonstrated in the Dry Running Video.

Impellers, diffusers and bushes are in fibreglass reinforced PA66.

4" Series

FP4 SERIES

Sand resistant: up to 250 g/m3

Submersible pumps of FP4 series are of new design, very solid and compact, easy to maintain.

The supports, stainless steel AISI 304, obtained with wax casting process, ensure great robustness and reliability of the product.

The new design of independent floating impeller, patented, guarantees a low axial load on the motor.

The new materials used in the construction, certified for use in drinking water, allow the pump to run even dry without deteriorate.

Top casing is 1 “1/4 G threaded for radial models (A, B, D, E) and 2” for semi axial models (F, H, L). The check valve is incorporated.

The service can be continuous. The maximum overall dimensions, including cable cover, is 98mm and the direction of rotation is counter clockwise viewed from the top casing.

To guarantee the functioning, the water level should be at least one meter above the aspiration. The pump can also be installed horizontally.

Uses are for clean and non-aggressive water, in particular: domestic and industrial water supply, water systems for lifting or for shower and running irrigation, aqueducts, pressurisation, fire fighting and washing systems, supply of autoclaves and tanks.

6" AP6 Series

AP6 SERIES

• Max head 840 meters
• Capacity up to 66 m3/h

Designed for 6” wells, submersible pump of AP6 series is made of solid and sturdy construction and it’s easy to maintain.

Bottom and top casing are generated from micro-casting steel AISI 304.
Top casing is 3” threaded and the non-return valve is incorporated.
As standard, up to 7.5Hp power the pump is supplied for connection to the 4″ motor (NEMA), from 10Hp to the motor 6″.

To solve problems due to great pressures (40 bar), the single pump becomes a group of pumps in series (abbreviation SD).

The maximum overall dimensions, with a cable cover, is 140mm and direction of rotation is counter clockwise viewed from the top casing. To guarantee the functioning, the water level should be at least one meter above the aspiration.
The service can be continuous.

The pump can also be installed horizontally.

Uses are for clean and non-aggressive water, in particular: domestic and industrial water supply, water systems for lifting or for shower and running irrigation, aqueducts, pressurisations, firefighting and washing systems, supply of autoclaves and tanks.

FX6 Series

FX6 SERIES

• Sand resistant: up to 500 g/m3
• Max head 500 m
• Capacity up to 96 m3/h

FX submersible pumps series (for wells of a nominal diameter of 6″ – 8″ – 10″ – 12″) are cast iron made, of mixed-flow type.

FX series have only one type of diffuser for each diameter. This allows easy management of disassembled pumps and spare parts. They also have the peculiarity of a hexagonal shaft type, for easy maintenance. The bushes are rubber made, coupled with thick chromed sleeves for a continuous operating in hard conditions, particularly suited to strong presence of sand. The service can be continuous. The impeller wear rings are rubber made (6” and 8”) or bronze made (10” and 12”).

Constructions are possible with impellers in bronze B10.

The couplings are all normalized in accordance with 6” and 8” NEMA standards.

The sense of rotation is counter clockwise viewed from the pump outlet.

Uses are for clean and non-aggressive water, in particular: domestic and industrial water supply, water systems for lifting or for shower and running irrigation, aqueducts, pressurisation, firefighting and washing systems, supply of autoclaves and tanks.

FR8 Series

FR8 SERIES

• Sand resistant: up to 60 g/m3
• Max head 740 m
• Capacity up to 84 m3/h

FR submersible pumps series (for wells of a nominal diameter of 8″) are cast iron made and radial type, with external tie rods in stainless steel.

FR series have two type of diffuser. This allows easy management of disassembled pumps and spare parts. They also have the peculiarity of a hexagonal shaft type, for easy maintenance. The bushes are rubber made, coupled with thick chromed sleeves for a continuous operating in hard conditions, particularly suited to strong presence of sand. The service can be continuous. The impeller wear rings are rubber made.

Constructions are possible with impellers in bronze B10.

The couplings are all normalized in accordance with 6” and 8” NEMA standards.
